Dr. Hoa T. NguyenDr. Hoa T. Nguyen is a Board Certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She practices full scope optometry from routine vision exams to emergency office visits to chronic medical eye conditions. She earned her doctorate degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She graduated Suma Cum Laude and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Nguyen also completed internships specializing in retinal disorders as well as laser vision correction and cataract surgery. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Nguyen is also currently an active member of the Harris County Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys shopping, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and two kids. |

ValerieValerie grew up in Houston, TX. She graduated from Mayde Creek High School in 1999. Soon after, she attended the Academy of Healthcare Professions and is now a Certified Limited Radiologic Technologist. She has been working for Dr. Nguyen since July 2009 and really enjoys the experience. One thing she really likes is that she is able to interact closely with the patients and gets to know them very well. She is also fluent in spanish. Outside of work Valerie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially with her two kids. |

Amber DavisAmber was born and raised in Houston. She started working for Dr. Nguyen in July 2021 and has enjoyed being able to help people everyday. She is an animal lover and amateur photographer. She loves being outside gardening or just taking in the scenery. She has two miniature schnauzers and two cats. She also loves spending time with her soon to be husband, Ross and son James, who is in culinary school. |

Gabriela Sims-PadronGabriela grew up in Houston, TX and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2023 with her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She is currently studying to take her Optometry entrance exam to become an Optometrist. She loves working here to get more experience in her career field, and loves meeting new people everyday! On her free time she loves to watch scary movies, hang out with her family, and shopping! |

Gloria GomezGloria joined the Ocular Oasis team in December 2022. She resides in Katy, Texas. She finds joy in arts and crafts and she also loves dancing. Gloria enjoys spending time with her kids and her furry companions. She always wanted to work for Dr. Nguyen because of her warm-hearted patient care she received as a patient. Now as part of the Ocular Oasis team, she gets to give that same warm-hearted care she received to the patients. |
